AR's pre-recruitment training continues

To encourage the sense of self-esteem amongst the local youth and to generate employment opportunities to the locals, 26 Sector Assam Rifles has committed itself towards the mission of employment generation through skill development, said a press release issued by PRO, IGAR.
It launched various skill development programmes in Chandel and Tengnoupal districts, which includes successfully running skill development centre in collaboration with the National Skill Development Commission under Pradhan Mantri Kushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and imparting valuable physical, medical and academic training to youth for Army, Assam Rifles and other Central Armed Forces (CAPFs), it informed.
In pursuance of the employment generation mission, the units of 26 Sector Assam Rifles are conducting the recruitment rally training from August 2019 at Chandel, Moreh and Moltuk, in view of the upcoming recruitment rally of Indian Army and Assam Rifles.
The recruitment drive is a one month long pre-recruitment training capsule with the aim of guiding and preparing youth from the remote, to clear their physical tests of recruitment rally.
The pre-recruitment training is planned to be organised in two phases.
The first phase involves preparation for physical tests and the second phase involves preparation for written exam for those candidates who passed the physical test.
The training was conducted from August 18 in Chandel, and from September 29 in Moreh and from September 1 in Moltuk, encompassing documentation check, online registration, medical checkup, physical training as well as guidance for academic coaching.
58 candidates from Chandel, 30 candidates from Moreh and 8 candidates from Moltuk and nearby villages are being imparted with pre-re-cruitment training.
Besides the physical and academic training, motivational lectures are also conducted by the respective unit instructors/lecturers.
During the training, many youth were provided with free boarding and lodging facilities in coordination of civil administration, added the statement.
These efforts of 26 Sector AR will go a long way to provide a platform to the youth in fulfilling their dreams and shaping the future of the youth and the State, it said.
