Kakching 2nd Divn League : SFC thrash KTC 4-0, Moreng last gasp goal saves PYSC blushes

SFC, Sugnu rose on top of the table of the Sh Rakesh 2nd Division Football League Tournament being organised by DSA Kakching at its playground with a 4-0 thrashing of KTC, Kakching today.
The win helped them secure 9 points in 4 matches and set a 2 points lead against PYSC, Phunal which drew 4-4 with KMSWC, Keirak today in another encounter today.
SFC earned the dominating win against KTC as Candid Sarang took centrestage scoring twice while Houminlin Gangte and P Japan managed a goal each, all in the first half.
Houminlun Gangte fired home the opener early in the 5th minute while Candid Sarang opened up his scoring two minutes latter to hand SFC a 2-0 lead.
P Japan then scored the team's third in the 25th minute as KYC were never in contest while Candid Sarang completed his brace in the 31st minute to set up a 4-0 lead for the winning side.
SFC then took their feet of the saddle in the second half while KTC failed to capitalise on the chances they had, helping the Sugnu side earn a comfortable win and go on top of the league table.
Meanwhile, KMSWC made a good start against PSYC and led the first half 2-0 but the latter team were in no mood to give up the game easily and thus made a big comeback in the second half to salvage a 4-4 draw.
Md Arab Khan gave KMSWC the lead in the 24th minute before Md Samir who made the most of the score with three goals in the match, opened up his scoring during the additional time of the 1st half.
PSYC made a more cautious approach in the second half and managed to reduce the margin in the 44th minute when Aimson Charanga find the back of the net before Md Samir quickfired two goals back to back in the 51st and the 52nd minutes helping KMSWC a clear 3 goal lead.
KMSWC however failed to gain ground in the latter proceedings as PSYC looked determined to reduce the gap while keeping their citadel intact.
Off one fine effort, PSYC's Messenger halved the margin in the 57th minute and Angeluis grabbed another in the 74th minute to make it 3-4.The Keirak side almost looked to seal the game but a last gasp goal by Morung (80') helped PYSC closed the gap and made it 4-4 at the end.
