MPCC greets

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) extended warm wishes and gratitude to the people of Manipur, specially the youth who are the pillar of future generation on the occasion of 131st birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India and also a freedom fighter.
M Okendro, president MPCC said Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who is regarded as the architect of modern India, not only took great responsibility in bringing social and political reforms in the country, but also established Children's Film Society of India in 1955 to provide a platform for showcasing the talents of children.
He also added that the leader was also responsible for the establishment of prominent educational institutions like AIMS, IIT and IIM to groom bright students.
