Footballer Sukumar appeals lifting ban on boxer Sarita

"Boxer L Sarita's reaction at the Medal Ceremony of Incheon Asian Games was undesirable.
She could have left the medal instead of handing over to her opponent boxer.
Her actions hurt the other sportswoman." This was stated by International Footballer I Sukumar during a chat with this daily.
Joining the wagon of sportspersons who have echoed their opinions on the ban imposed on promising boxer of the country, Sukumar said that Laishram Sarita is one of the successful players coming out from this state.
Even though Boxer Laishram Sarita did something undesirable during the medal ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games, her response was out of anger.
As a player, Sukumar felt regret over the life ban imposed on the promising player L Sarita by the AIBA.
Footballer Sukumar appealed to the authority concerned to lift the ban and allow her to play for the nation.
Sarita, according to the footballer, is a medal prospect of the country in the upcoming Olympics and other world championships.
