Personality development programme kicks off

A 10 days Personality Development Programme was kicked off today at the Conference Hall of Council for Advancement of Rural Development (CARD), Thoubal Kshetri leikai.
The programme was organised by Dattopant Thangadi National Board for Worker Education and Development, Imphal in collaboration with Council for Advancement of Rural Development (CARD) Thoubal.
The inaugural function was attended by Jackie Ruivah, State Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Imphal Gol and MN Salam, Regional Director, Dattopant Thingadi National Board for Worker Education and Development, Imphal Gol as Chief Guest and President respectively.
A Kameshwar Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Thoubal and W Ibohal Singh, Former District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Chandel also attended the function as Guests of Honour.
Training on life skill education, leadership qualities, personality development.
good governance, accounting, field visit to skill developement centre, flagship programmes of Govt Of India, etc will be facilitated through powerpoint presentation, lecture and group discussions during the prog.
Altogether, 30 youths (12 male and 18 female) from Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal and Kakching Districts participate in the 10 days training programme and will continue till December 14.Speaking at the occasion, Chief guest Jackie Ruivah said that expressing ideas will increase the personality as well as the leadership quality of the individual and advised the participants to use the programme as a stepping stone of their career.
DSWO Thoubal Kameshwor said that the training will help the young people to enhance their leadership quality and urged the participants to work hard and read lots of book to become a good leader.
