The campaign for the election of Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency to be held on April 22 will come to a close at 4 pm tomorrow.
In all 8,26,539 voters of 32 Assembly Constituencies in the Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency will cast their votes to elect a representative at 970 polling stations.
The number of the male voters is 3,90,445 and the number of female voters is 4,34,574 .
There are 1,520 service voters in the constituency.
Out of these, 1,320 are female service voters.
Moirang Assembly Constituency has the highest number of voters, which is 32,699 and Thanga Assembly Constituency has the lowest number of voters, i.e.19,842 .
Electronic Voting Machines will be used at all the polling stations.
Photo identity card will also be used for the first time from this general election.
The photo identity cards had already been issued to the voters.
Polling personnel numbering about 4,850 will be assigned for polling duties.
Deployment of central security personnel at the polling stations has begun from today.
The polling will start from 7 am and end at 4 pm.
