In its continuous initiatives to provide quality health service to the people of North East India, the Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata is opening an Information Centre in Imphal on September 4 at Kalyan Bhawan, Kwakeithel as the first step.
According to a press statement, the Information centre of Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals � the only hospital in Eastern India to be accredited by the Joint Commission International (ICJ) of USA and a name which earned the most coveted Gold Seal of Quality � will take care of all the queries of the patients and meet their medical requirements like fixing up of appointments, arrange travel and stay arrangements along with post treatment follow-up schedules.
In the second step, the Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals would link Imphal with the patients of rural areas of Manipur and Moreh to the hospital through its state-of-the-art Telemedicine facilities which will bring the renowned Apollo consultants virtually to the people's doorsteps, it stated.
It will further put up a proposal to the state government authorities for an empanelment which would extend credit facilties to the various departments for their referred patients.
It is also creating special and affordable packages for Open Heart Surgery, Kidney Transplant and other complex surgeries for the people of Manipur, the statement conveyed.
