Webinar on Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat organised

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organized a webinar on 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' on August 18, which showcased the rich culture and heritage of paired states Manipur, Nagaland and Madhya Pradesh.
The webinar was moderated by Dipak Kumar, Regional Director of NSS Guwahati.
While briefing the participants, he said that the initiative of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat" is aimed at reviving the sense of National unity in today's times by connecting people of far-flung states.
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) is the flagship initiative of Government of India to celebrate the idea of India and its cultural diversity through mutual interaction and reciprocity between people of different states.
As part of this initiative, a webinar was organized with focus on sharing of rich culture and heritage of Manipur, Nagaland and Madhya Pradesh under the EBSB initiative.
John Britto and Sr Sweta CCV from Don Bosco College Maram prepared a PowerPoint presentation on history, traditional dances, musical instruments and folk music of Manipur.
Kavaila Delphia, who was the speaker during the webinar representating the State of Manipur briefed about the simple, graceful and melodic dances of Manipur and State's physical beauty that inspired the art, crafts, music and dance of the State.
The webinar was attended by the secretary of MYAS, GoI Usha Sharma, deputy secretary Saurav Kumar Shah, Director of NSS, senior officers and NSS volunteers of all the three States.
