Science camps at MU

The 5th and 6th INSPIRE Internship science camps organised by Manipur University under the sponsorship of Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India commenced from today at Senate hall of Earth Science Department, MU.
While the 5th camp would be held from August 8 to 12 the 6th phase will be from August 14 till 18.The camp aimed at promoting innovation in science is being participated by students of class XI to XII standard.
As chief guest of the inauguration programme, former MU Vice Chancellor Prof C Amuba Singh called upon the students to strive for excellence in science studies along with the reminder that science needs constant exploring for further discovery.
The inaugural session was also attended by MU Vice Chancellor Prof H Nandakumar Sarma as the functional president with Jorhat-based Tocklai Tea research Foundation's Director Dr N Muraleedharan and Dean of School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MU) Prof M Dhaneshwar Singh as the guests of honour.
