Expressing condolences on the death of Professor Gangmumei Kamei, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam stated that the death of the Professor is a loss that can't be replaced.
He said that the deceased carried out various developmental works for the youth and the future generation and he was one of the members of North East Council which is something that all should be proud of, he added.
He further expressed that Professor Gangmumei's death has left a hollow place for the Zeliangrong people in particular and Manipur in general.
His works identified him as a social worker, a historian , an academician and a true leader, he stated.
Zeliangrong Baudi, AMN also mourned the demise of Professor Gangmumei Kamei.
The general secretary of Zeliangrong Baudi said that his works and contribution towards the North East region would always be remembered and inspired in the days to come.
