After suspension of its year long academic campaign for about 4 months on account of sustained stir on the issue of aided colleges, MSF has made all preparations to resume the campaign.
A statement issued by MSF informed that many students had already benefited from the valuable suggestions given by distinguished teachers of Manipur University during the campaign launched in February this year.
The year long academic campaign with its underlying theme "Let's learn properly" (Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi) is basically aimed to inculcate a sense of patriotism and responsibility among the students regarding the various issues of the State in addition to learning properly, stated the release.
The campaign focusing on nine different themes also encompassed several issues presently under discussion and analysis by the people of the State.
The pros and cons of studying outside the State, instilling a sense of patriotism in students, the demerits of frequent bandhs and strikes, roles played by students in the transformation of a society, the positive and negative aspects of direct or indirect involvement in State issues by students, the responsibility of political leaders in bringing a purposeful education system and inevitability of good teachers for good students are some of the topics on which many resources persons have shared their thoughts and views enlightening the students during the campaign.
As the campaign is concentrated in schools/olleges, MSF appealed for cooperation from school/college authority and the students.
