Imphal, September 19 2021: The Naga People's Front, Manipur State Unit (NPF/MSU) has urged all stakeholders to extend co-operation in making sure the Manipur (Hill Areas) Autonomous District Council Bill 2021 is be passed as an Act.

In a statement, the NPF/MSU contended that passing the ADC Bill 2021 in the Manipur Legislative Assembly would bring peace and development in the State.

The statement said that the NPF supports the Bill and appreciated party legislators, particularly K Leishiyo for their efforts to pass the ADC Bill 2021.The HAC of Manipur Legislative Assembly recommended the Bill for tabling in the 13th session of the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly in August, it added.

The NPF also appealed to all to refrain from misinterpreting the Bill to gain political mileage.
