A large number of his supporters took part in the campaign which was kick-started at his locality in Singjamei Oinam Thingel.

He will take up various initiatives for the welfare of youth if voted to power, he said.
Women of the Constituency are very skilful in various activities and so taking up initiatives for them is also a must, he added.
NPP is the only Political Party which gives thrust to the youth and women, he said while explaining on why he chose to join the party.
"I have been taking up various activities for the welfare of the people of the Constituency for the last seven years," he said while asserting that he wants to further his cause as a representative of the Constituency as he is facing restraint due to being a layman.
