Imphal, September 19 2021:
Oinam Romen, who is planning to contest the upcoming Assembly ejections from Singjamei AC on National People's Party (NPP) ticket, launched a house campaign from his home polling at Singjamei Oinam Thingel on Sunday.
Inaugurating the campaign, Somen said that the people of Singjamei AC are highly educated and as such, cannot be easily won over by money or muscle power.
A candidate who is sincere will surely win the election with the support of the people, he predicted, while adding that the upcoming election will be one of the most inexpensive polls for Singamei AC as the earlier trend of cash for votes is no more relevant in contemporary society.
Informing that his goal is to ensure jobs for all the youth in Singamei AC and help them become Independent financially, thereby helping in the development of the constituency; Romen said that he will prove to the young people that government jobs are not the only jobs out there.
He then said that he will take up works with emphasis on entrepreneurship development, including works for talented women of the constituency.
