Imphal, February 13:
Kuki Movement for Human Rights (KUMHUR) has appealed for the early and unconditional release of its chairman Dr Lunkim who is above 80 years of age and is a Christian leader.
Taking note of the clarification made by KLA that the outfit had only summoned Dr Lunkim to sort out some pending internal family members, KUMHUR vice chairman Dr S Chongloi, in a statement, appealed to the outfit to sort out, whatsoever be the matter, immediately and release him unconditionally.
KUMHUR would be grateful for the kind and prompt release of Dr Lunkim, the statement added.
