Massive cleanliness drive launched at District Hospital Churachandpur

CCpur, September 22 2018:
The Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF conducted amassive cleanliness drive at the District Hospital Churachandpur and its vicinity today.
The mass social service, held under Swachhta Pakhwada was enthusiastically participated by 300 personnel from the training centre including officers of all ranks.
The border personnel were joined by volunteers from Young Paite Association, Young Vaiphei Association, Simte Youth Organisation and Zou Youth Organisation, while students from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Hope Baptist Academy also extended their assistance during the exercise.
The entire premises of the hospital, including the garbage junkyard behind the hospital mortuary was cleaned during the exercise.
The BSF personnel with the help of the hospital staff also washed the entire floor of the hospital during the three-hour cleanliness drive.
Earlier, prior to the commencement of the cleanliness drive, troops of the STC BSF took out a rally, holding up placards and raising slogans about cleanliness, to create awareness among the local community, while heading for the district hospital.
A statement issued later by the centre said that the event was successfully organised under the supervision of Solomon Yash Kumar Minz, IPS Inpector General, STC, BSF.
