BJP summits memorandum

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has submitted a 16 point memorandum regarding various issues of Jiribam to the Chief Secretary of Manipur through the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam.
P Rakeshwar Singh, president BJP Mandal, Jiribam said even though Jiribam is under the Imphal East district jurisdiction, it lacks behind in every field.
Education, health, Transport and communication should be the priority to improve and will ask concerned authority to keep a community radio station (CRS) at the Jiribam Sub-division.
The general secretary of BJP Mandal committee said for Jiribam sub division, 50 pc of the fund from NREGA is directed to the Panchayat, 20 pc is used as an intermediate and the remaining 30 pc is directed to local MLA.
On non deliverance of work, the BJP Jiribam Mandal demands a white paper from MLA regarding the funds.
The BJP Jiri Mandal ex-full time worker and sympathiser promised to make Jiribam a full fledged district too.
He also hightlighted the need to check the influx of migrants at Jiri tea estate, Cashanu farm being turned to a sport complex and agreed with the demand by various students organisation as it is true and sensible.
He also urged the Addl Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam to enquire about the 4000 missing ration cards.
