Imphal, July 06 2014: The Okram Sagei Apokpa Trust of Thoubal Taba Pu has on Sunday organised the 13th prize distribution function at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The Director of Education (S) H Deelip Singh and the Additional Director (Hills) of education (S) M Lerte Kom were chief guest and president of the function respectively while the retired Principal of the DM College of Sciences Okram Kumar Singh also shared the platform.

The retired ZEO AK Noren Singh, the Principal of Thoubal College Okram Chaoba Devi and the retired Principal of the National Sports Academy Imphal L Ajit Singh attended the function as resource persons.

There are two categories of the prizes � State level and Okram Sagei level respectively.

In the State level category, the Donson Okram Memorial Award 2014 was conferred to Sarangthem Sharliza Annoly who secured first position in the BOSEM conducted class X exam while Okram Herojit Singh Memorial Award 2014 was presented to Linthoi Soram who secured second position in the same examination and the third position holder of the same examination Lujiya Ngangbam got Okram Chaoba Singh and Okram (O) Amusana Devi Memorial Award 2014 .

In the Sagei level category, the Okram Ibomcha Singh and Okram (O) Tampak Devi Memorial Award 2014 was presented to Dhumle Okram while the Leoson Okram Memorial Award 2014 was jointly received by Okram Puinachandra Singh and Okram Jenson Singh.

The Okram Sushilkumar Memorial Award 2014 was conferred to Okram Jeny Devi.

In the State level category of the class XII exam, the Okram Tomba Singh Memorial Awards have been awarded to Thongam Akbar Meitei, Takhellambam Camando Singh, Haowaibam Nonglenkhomba Meitei and Sanasam Premananda Singh respectively.

And in the Sagei level category of the same exam, the Okram Chaoba Memorial Award was presented to Uttarani Okram while the Okram Yaima Singh & Okram (O) RK Tingongsana Devi Memorial Award went to Okram Ratina Devi and Okram Gokulchand Singh got Okram Mohon Singh & Okram (O) Immacha Memorial Award respectively.

Okram (O) Keinya Devi Okram (O) Mikoi Devi Memorial Award and Okram Punshi Singh & Okram Ongbi Mani Devi Memorial Award were presented to Okram Joyshree Devi and Andrew Okram respectively in the Sagai level category.

In sports category, fencing player Seram Chingkheinganbi Chanu and football player Phijam Anjali Chanu were honoured by presenting Okram Nodia Singh Memorial Award and Okram Kullachandra Singh Memorial Award.

Above this, Okram Ningol Keinyahandi Devi was provided financial assistance with Okram Ningol Tharoshangbi Memorial Fund.
