IRCS Senapati Branch Youth Brigade organises social work

The Indian Red Cross Society, Senapati Branch Youth Brigade organised a social work of earth filling at the IRCS office situated at Old DRDA hall.
The building is also occupied by medical doctors who are on duty taking test samples of every returnee.
Mention may be made that the youth brigade of the district have been continuing their voluntary service by disinfecting and sanitising every IQCs operating in Senapati since March this year.
After every team tested negative and left the QCs, its volunteers would sanitise and disinfect the buildings and its surroundings before the arrival of new team in each IQCs.
Youth brigade under Senapati branch came into being in the month of march this year with emergent need of the pandemic situation.
Earlier, there was reportedly Junior Red Cross consisting of the high school level with over 200 members.
The present youth brigade has 40 young and dynamic dedicated members from district headquarters, Senapati who have been rendering voluntary services during this pandemic.
The social work was accompanied and supervised by K Louno Andrew, chairman, IRCS, Senapati Branch, Heshu Choro, Fin, IRCS, Senapati, Daniel Shangne, jt secy IRCS, Senapati along with some senior members of Senapati branch.
