As follow up action to the recent upgradation of Heirok Part-I High School to Higher Secondary level and Heirok Part-II Junior High School to High School level, the State Government today conducted the DPC for recruitment of the required teaching and non-teaching staff.
The DPC for recruitment of nine arts graduate teachers, four science graduate teachers, 24 other lecturers of various subjects and four laboratory assistants on contract basis was held at Heirok Part-I High School, Heirok.
However, as against the required posts, in all 170 candidates including 61 for the arts graduate teachers, 41 for the science graduate teachers, 24 for laboratory assistant, nine candidates for the post of lecturers in Manipuri subject, 3 in English, 4 in Chemistry, seven in Botany/Zoology, 2 in Physics, 3 in Education, 5 in Political Science, 3 in Mathematics, 3 each in History and Geography and two in Statistics have responded to the DPC.
The DPC was conducted with Commissioner of Education (S) as chairman and Director of Education (S) and Deputy Secretary (DP)
as members.
