Speaking to media persons, Sougrakpam Roben, president AMME & WU informed that a joint meeting of 26 Urban Local Body (ULB) with the exception of Imphal Co-operation was held on August 7 .
"After the meeting, memorandums were submitted to MAHUD Minister and related Departments with the demand to provide 5 month salary of ULBs (March 1-July 31) before August 26 and convert Salary Head of ULB to Non Plan Head", he added.
