Imphal, April 28 2021:
Given the rapidly rising Covid positive cases in the State, the State Government has informed all concerned seeking an audience with Chief Minister N Biren to obtain prior permission from Secretary to CM.
In an office memorandum, Secretary to CM, N Geoffrey stated that a person without a mask will not be permitted entry in the CM office complex under any circumstances.
He also advised visitors seeking an audience with the CM to get themselves vaccinated against COVID-19 as per applicable norms of State/Central Governments, stating that proof of vaccination may be sought by the office before giving an appointment.
Further stating that visitors who have been granted appointments have to submit a negative Covid test report taken within the last 72 hours prior to date/time of appointment, he added, "In case, an appointment is sought for a group of persons, the size of such group shall preferably be restricted to 3" .
The visitors who have been given appointments are also advised to refrain from bringing gifts, sanitise their hands using a sanitiser dispenser installed in the CM office premises and cooperate with the officials of the CMs' office, he maintained continuing that query and follow up on letter/representation will be entertained telephonically only (0385-2450048)/2450137) .
No entry will be permitted for submitting representation.
All representation will be received at the Dak Counter (General Section), Geoffrey said.
