TSA general assembly concludes

The 58th general assembly of Thadou Students' Association Ghqs hosted by TSA Sadar Hills came to an end at Morning Star School, Sapormeina on Sunday.
The general assembly inaugurated by Rev Mangpithang Haokip, Pastor KBC Gambih (Area) No 4 was attended amongst others by members of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills, Kuki Women Union, Sadar Hills, Thadou Tribe Council and various CSOs within Sadar Hills apart from Chandel, Imphal, Churachandpur, Sadar Hills and Delhi branches of TSA.
Reports from various TSA branches were presented while numerous issues were also minutely discussed during the assembly including the Haolenphai issue.
The assembly also discussed about opening of TSA information centre-cum-office at the State capital and opening of TSA branch in Shillong, Guwahati and Silchar before October this year.
Assembly Speaker Tonglen Lhouvum, administered oath to the newly elected office bearers of TSA Churachandpur branch.
Meanwhile, the assembly speaker expressed his discontentment over the dismantling of TSA Churachandpur branch's signboard by unknown miscreants and strongly condemned the act.
While demanding the culprit(s) concerned to clarify the matter, the assembly speaker appealed to all to refrain from such acts in future.
The assembly came to a close with a benediction by the assembly speaker Tonglen Lhouvum.
A love feast marked the general assembly.
