Abductors of ABCI workers : KNF (N) awards capital punishment

The Kuki National Front (Nehlun) has reportedly awarded capital punishment to one Thanglallen alias Abi Vaiphei of Sarampatong village in Ukhrul district today in connection with the abduction of three workers of ABCI on January 23 .
The outfit's information and publicity secretarty Gogou Vaiphei allegedly claimed that Thanglallen alias Abi Vaiphei, a self-styled gangster was involved in the reported abduction of three workers of ABCI Infrastructures Private Limited on January 23 .
He further said that after nearly two months of inquiry by a committee, formed to investigate the abduction case of ABCI workers, who were engaged in the ADB funded road construction work from Thoubal to Kasom Khullen in Ukhrul district on January 23, it was finally known that the abduction was the handiwork of a self-styled gangster identified as Thanglallen alias Abi Vaiphei of Sarampatong.
According to an earlier issued warning by the outfit, Thanglallen alais Abi Vaiphei has been given capital punishment this evening for tarnishing the outfit's name in connection with the abduction, Gogou further said.
He continued that two .303 rifles have been seized from his possession.
Mention may be made that KNF (N) has been blamed for the abduction of three workers of ABCI Infrastructures Private Limited on January 23.The outfit had categorically denied the charge and had warned of awarding befitting punishment to the abductors if they happen to net them.
