Imphal, December 23 2015:
Maintaining that they have concrete evidence of question leakage in the written examination conducted for the recruitment of staff nurses in RIMS, Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) has reiterated its stand that they will oppose declaration of interview results until the matter is thoroughly probed.
In a statement, AIMS alleged that the RIMS authority has cooked up a story to cover up the mess.
The students' body said that it was a clear sign of negligence on the part of RIMS authority to keep the question papers at Imphal airport for one night.
It also questioned which Central or State institute had ever invited the media to witness opening of seals of question papers before any examination.
RIMS authority's claim regarding opening the seal of question papers before the media was a meticulously planned act to deceive the public, the students body said.
It further said that they have a concrete report on a secret meeting between a top official of Union Home Ministry and a RIMS team comprising Director, Medical Superintendent and others in a hotel in Imphal.
The meeting should not have been conducted in a hotel if it was an official meeting, AIMS claimed.
