Urging the State Education Dept to issue posting order to SSA-Upper Primary Teachers who were appointed in 2016, the Upper Primary Teacher (SSA) 2016 Tribal Fraternity has warned of launching democratic forms of agitation if the State Govt fails to give them posting on or before Nov 20.In a statement, the association said that they were appointed as SSA-UPT on Jan 3 this year after a DPC was conducted.
However, their postings were put on hold as the election code of conduct was enforced from Jan 4 .
The teachers were hopeful that their posting will be given after installation of a popular Govt.Even as tiie appointed teachers repose faith and hope on the new Govt under the dynamic leadership of the Chief Minister, the Govt resorted to forming SIT to probe the recruitment process.
Although they don't have any misgiving to the Govt prob ing the recruitment process, the teachers' fraternity said it is not right to victimise law abiding citizens for no fault of theirs and due to delay tactics of the authority concerned.
It further pointed out that most of the appointed teachers were serving as private teachers and had tendered their resign nation.
Since no posting has been given to them even after a-lapse of nearly a year, they remain jobless and have begun to feel the prick, it said.
It further rued that no response has been coming even as-the SSA-UPT teachers sought appointment with the CM on, many occasions.
It then urged the CM and his Govt to redress their grievance on or before Nov 20 failing which they will be compelled to resort to democratic forms of protest.
The,.
Govt will be held responsible for any outcome.
