The order also advised SP (Imphal East) to relieve Manjit immediately and report compliance.
TDC has been alleging that a team of Imphal East district police led by SDPO Manjit fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters against a peacefully assembled mourners at Mantripukhri some days back.
Transport workers and others had gathered to pay tributes to slain truck driver N Gobardhon, whose lifeless corpse was found in Kohima some days back.
