Poumai Naga Ts�doumai Me, Delhi (PNTMD) celebrates Silver Jubilee

Imphal, October 28 2012: The Poumai Naga Ts�doumai Me, Delhi (PNTMD) celebrated its Silver Jubilee cum Fresher's Social on October 24 at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla.

Gracing the occasion as the chief guest, Dr V Alexander Pao, MLA, urged to recount the blessings that God has bestowed upon PNTMD, as He has transformed many lives into a successful men and women.

He continued to stress on the importance of education for every individual so as to live a dignified life and bring positive changes in the society, according to a statement issued by J Hillson, President, Poumai Naga Ts�doumai Me, Delhi.

Guests of honour were Kelhouneizo Yhome, President of Naga Students Federation and Ng Lorho, President of the Poumai Naga Union.

The parent body PNTM President ThoPao H said a brief exhortation.

The hall was fully packed as more than 2000 people attended the function.

The event was set into motion with the presentation of a melodious song by the PNTMD Choir.

J Hillson, President of the PNTMD welcomed the Guests and all the members present.

Special Guest and invitees from various students bodies were introduced and felicitated.

Jubilee Souvenir was released by the Chief Guest.

PNTMD Dance troupe presented a splendid piece of Poumai Naga Folk Dance.

Mao Students Union, Delhi, Angami Krotho Delhi, Maram Students Union, Delhi & Vafiimai Students presented folk songs.

The freshers were called on to the staged for introduction and were blessed with prayers by R Ziisho Pao, Pastor PBCD.

Khuvei Olyson and Helina were chosen as Mr.and Ms.Freshers of the year 2012.The audience were enthralled with the fashion parade by various Poumai models designed by Anelo.

In the musical extravaganza, Big Bang Theory from Philippines, The Vinyl Records, Minute of Decay, A Tr1be, Blending chords and many other individual artists entertained the congregation with their overwhelming performances.

J Maivio the Organizing Committee thanked the entire participant and all those who have contributed in various ways for the success of the program.
