KYKL celebrates

The proscribed KYKL today celebrated its 19th raising day at its battalion headquarters and units.
The main function held at 1st Bn Hqs MYL was graced by KYKL General Secretary Korouhanba as chief guest, acting Chief of Army Staff MYL K Nimai as president and KCP Chief of Army Staff MFL Krity Meitei as guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Krity Meitei remarked that a situation has arrived where all revolutionary groups can study the liberation movement together with the pioneer groups which is made possible by the formation of CorCom.
Korouhanba underscored the importance of understanding the history of Kangleipak by all the people of this land.
Kangleipak was once a sovereign Asiatic power in Western South East Asia.
That is why people are waging a liberation movement, he asserted.
It is also crucial to analyse the history of Assamese, Karbi, Bodo, Tripuri, Khasi, Garo etc who have been living under foreign rule like Kangleichas.
In his presidential speech, Nimai cautioned that the liberation movement would lose its momentum if there is no cooperation among the revolutionary groups.
