Imphal, April 25 2013:
Ahead of the next Parliamentary election, the Election Commission of India would issue colour PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) voter identity cards in place of black and white identity cards currently in use.
It is expected that multi-colour identity cards which would be issued anew would help in identifying duplicate voters, informed a source.
The multi-colour PVC cards would be made by India Security Press, Nasik.
