Restrictions eased

Imphal, May 12 2021:
The State Government has eased some of the restrictions imposed amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
In an order issued yesterday, the Government said it is allowing e-commerce activities and home delivery of goods and services.
The services which have been allowed are;
Child Protection Services (Orphanages, Children Homes, Observation Homes etc)
Home delivery services under ICDS/ICPS (supplementary nutrition for children, pregnant and lactating mothers)
Home delivery of various goods and services (food items, vegetables, groceries, medicines etc) including e-commerce platforms
Services of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, Finance Department and Treasuries with minimal staff
Banking services with limited staff on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10 am to 2.30 pm for Government and non-Government transactions .
ATM services
Sale of fish feed/animal feed, milk and milk products, fish, poultry and poultry products from 7 am to 2 pm for purchase by locals.
It may be noted here that in view of surging Covid cases and fatality amid the second wave of COVID-19, the State Government had imposed curfew in imposed restrictions on various activities except essentials in Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Churachandpur and Ukhrul district till May 17 .
