NYK Thoubal organises training programmes

Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoubal is currently organising Skill Upgradation Training Programmes (SUTP) for women at different localities of Thoubal and Imphal West districts.
Two-month SUTPs on the trade of detergent, dish wash and soap making was inaugurated at Lamding and Sangaiyumpham villages in Thoubal district today.
Y Laksman Singh, DYC highlighted the objective of organising the training programme.
PRI Member Khumanthem Biina inaugurated the training programme organised by the Lamdiing Educated Welfare Association.
Over 20 Muslim women will get benefit from the training programme organised by the Diamond Youth Welfare Association, Sangaiyumpham.
Another training programme was also opened at Charangpat in the trade of fruit and vegetable preservation.
More than 20 women from 18-25 years of age are attending the training programme.
K Lokendro Singh, Member, DACYP of NYK Thoubal inaugurated the training programme.
Similar Skill Upgradation Training Programmes were also opened at Khurkhul village in Imphal West-I Block in the trade of mushroom cultivation.
The Rama Foundation of Imphal is taking the initiative of organising the training programmes.
Rajen Singh of Rama Foundation introduced the women participants about the importance of mushroom in the health and protecting from the diseases.
Different methods of cultivating mushroom and its economic aspects will be trained to the women participants during the course of the training programme, said a press release.
