MLA announces award on arrest of blast accused

Ex-pressing grave concern over recent incidents of bomb blasts at public places in the capital city, thangmeiband Assembly Constituency MLA Khumukcham Joykisan Singh has pledged to present Rs 1 lakh award to police personnel/team who can arrest those responsible for the blasts.
The same award will also be given through the police to any individual, who can provide any clue on persons accused of planting/triggering the blast, said the MLA while talking to newspersons at his Khoyathong residence today.
Noting that some UG groups had already clarified that they have nothing to do with the blasts, Joykisan said possibility of certain group(s) with vested interest involved in the incidents cannot be ruled out.
Apart from the blast claiming the lives of innocent persons and living many injured triggering the blasts in and around high security zones is amount to challenging efficiency of the security forces, opined the MLA who condemning the blast also termed such acts as cowardly and inhumane.
Suggesting that NGOs as well as the common public need to maintain strict vigil to weed out disruptive elements from the society, Joykisan also expressed strong resentment against triggering bomb blast at Kalibari last night stating that the blast could have claimed many innocent persons as the market places are normally crowded at the time of festivals like the diwali or Ningol Chakkouba.
Noting that the arrest of some persons accused of murdering excavator operator Devraj is a huge achievement for the police force, the MLA nevertheless desired that police personnel contribute their mite to the maximum for ensuring safety of the common people.
