He also urged the Government of Manipur to treat both the boxers in the same manner as gold medal winners are honoured.
Meanwhile, Manipur People's Party (MPP) said Indian boxer Laishram Sarita was insulted at the Incheon Asian Games.
Pugilists L Sarita and L Devendro lost their bouts at the Asian Games under dubious circumstances against theirSouth Korean opponents, MPP president N Sovakiran told reporters at the party office.
A question has been raised from the public against the officials of Indian Olympic Association (IOC) on whether they are enjoying a picnic in Incheon, he said, adding MPP takes serious note over the cases of Sarita and Devendro.
Sovakiran said the Government of Manipur should honour Sarita and Devendro like other gold medallists of the 17th Asian Games Incheon since they had been denied the medals by alleged fraud means.
