Wins for CYDOL, KVWA, YWO, MPSC, ESU in Senior State Level Handball Tournament

Imphal, May 12 2024: CYDOL, KVWA, YWO and MPSC recorded convincing wins in the men's event of the 46th Senior State Level Handball Tournament 2024 on Sunday, while ESU and MPSC prevailed in the women's group.

CYDOL beat IMC 28-22 as Shyamkumar scored 10 goals, Kh Ajit netted six, Ingocha collected five, both Boby and Romario got two, and Romeo, Kiran and Binladen contributed one apiece in their victory.

KVWA notched up a 14-6 win over PC with goals from Samuel (8), Tondonba (3), Shitaljit (1), Kiranjit (1) and Ratan (1) .

YWO scored a 24-18 triumph over BBA.

Joychandra grabbed six goals for the winning side, followed by Somorjit (5) and Ranjan (4), as both Umakanta, Rohit and Shajit contributed two goals, with England, Suraj and Surjit each scoring one.

In other men's match, MPSC produced a 21-12 drubbing of SSC courtesy of Jayenta (5), Tomba (3), Becker (3), Govin (2), Robi (2), Okendro (2), Bijoy (2), Dina (1) and Hemanta (1) .

In the women's event, ESU outplayed KKYDO by an 18-10 margin with goals from Sunitibala (5), Ranju (4), Inunganbi (4), Luxmi (2), Payal (2) and Sujata (1), while MPSC outperformed KIKY-WO 17-8 as Sunitabala scored four goals, Bebina claimed a treble, Apabi, Sushila and Laxmi each netted two, and Sandhyarani, Khomeiton and Chaoba got one each for the winning team.
