RFCC boys cruise to title triumph

Imphal, May 11 2024: Potshangbam Sad ananda netted a brace as Regular Football Coaching Center (RFCC) drubbed TGES 4-1 to win the The 1st H Panthoibi Devi Memorial U-13 Boys Football League 2023-24 at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur on Saturday.

Sadananda set the tone for the rout with an 8th-minute opener, and Saikhom Luhenba Meitei doubled their advantage in the 20th minute before Tongbram Rajeshkanta further stretched the lead to 3-0 after finding the back of the net in the 39th minute.

TGES reduced the deficit in the 35th minute through Laishram Lanheiba Singh and that was as far as they could go as Sadananda struck in his second and team's third goal in the 44th minute to consolidate their advantage, which they held intact throughout the game on their way to the title.
