Imphal, August 08 2025:
The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has announced a set of regulations to be strictly followed by all district associations while organising district-level leagues and tournaments.
According to an AMFA memorandum, organisers must seek permission at least 20 days in advance and complete the registration process through the Central Registration System (CRS) or Competition Management System (CMS) no later than 10 days before the start.
It is mandatory to register all top division leagues in the CMS, and no players may be added after a league has commenced.
The association has also set limits on the number of teams permitted in each division.
Both the Super Division and First Division must have between six and eight teams, while the Second and Third Divisions must have a minimum of six teams each.
AMFA further warned that failure to meet these criteria - particularly for top division registration in the CMS - will result in ineligibility to participate in the Winners' Cup organised by the association.
