AKSDO clinch MNCA U-14 title with 35-run victory over YWC

In a thrilling final of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament, AKSDO (Khangabok) clinched a 35-run victory against YWC (Langthabal) at SEDOC Ground on Friday.
Batting first, AKSDO posted 126/9 in 30 overs, anchored by captain Borish Khudrakpam (24 off 40 balls) and Kh Boiton (10* off 46 balls) .
The innings saw frequent wickets, but extras (51 runs) played a critical role, including 35 wides from YWC's bowlers.
Sayonba Sing starred with the ball for YWC, claiming 3/20, while Daneli Seram and Irom Lanchenba took two wickets each.
Chasing 127, YWC crumbled to 91 all out in 21.3 overs.
Kelvinson Khoisam fought valiantly with an unbeaten 24 (35 balls), but AKSDO's bowlers dominated.
Shailesh Khundrakpam's fiery spell (4/18) and Biqyasagar Khundrakpam's early breakthroughs (2/18) dismantled the top order.
YWC's innings was marred by poor running, with three batters falling to run-outs, and extras (28 runs) again proving costly.
AKSDO's disciplined bowling and YWC's batting frailty sealed the match, handing AKSDO the tournament title.
