MBA announces provisional squad for Sub-jr basketball nationals

Imphal, August 21 2025: The Manipur Basketball Association on Thursday named a 20-member provisional squad for a training camp ahead of the upcoming 50th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championships.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, from October 4 to 10, 2025 .

The shortlisted players include Thiyam Billgates Singh, Shriyans Potsangbam, Barun Okram, Laishram Irabanta Singh, Ningombam Rathor, Thokchom Gison Singh, Naorem Lanchenba, Nelson Asem, Wahengbam Khaba, Achom Phoenix, Anderson Keithellakpam, L Tomthilnganba Meitei, Chongtham Eddie Singh, Guruaribam Ronald Sharma, Mangalsana Rajkumar, Shijagurumayum Bronson, Dehriz Kshetrimayum, Phurailatpam Anshu-man, Chongtham Chitan and Moirangthem Telheiba.

The players are drawn from various clubs, including Youth Club, Model Club, LMYVA, ESU, and YOSC.

According to the Association, the selected players are required to report to head coach T Nilamani Singh along with coaches N Jackson Singh, Y Kaashper, Dinachandra Aribam, and Borish Achom at Brahmapur Nahabam Basketball Court on August 22, 2025 at 3.30 pm for necessary instructions on training and coaching.
