KI Girls' League: YWC thump ICSA as FCI, ESU split points

Young Welfare Club (YWC) ran riot against ICSA, pumping in 19 goals without reply, as FC Imphal and ESU played out a 1-1 draw in the Under 17 Khelo India Girls' Football League - Imphal at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong on Sunday.
Remi Thokchom stole the show, scoring seven goals in YWC's 19-0 thrashing of ICSA.
Remi opened the scoring in the 8th minute before she went on a rampage in the 27th, 37th, 49th, 55th, 61st and 74th minutes for her seven-goal blitz.
Sorokhaibam Silky Devi (20, 22, 24, 34), on the other hand, made her mark with four goals while Loukrakpam Seityamala Devi (17, 32) and Laishram Bidyalaxmi Devi (46, 64) netted two goals apiece.
Konthoujam Daina Devi (5) Wairokpam Daina Chanu (33) and Julan Nongmaithem (38) also got their names on the scoresheet in their emphatic win.
Meanwhile, FC Imphal and ESU ended their match in a 1-1 stalemate.
Thongam Reshma Devi gave FC Imphal the lead in the 24th minute, only to be equalised by Chingsubam Christina's strike in the 27th minute for the eventual 1-1 result.
