10th Jadonang Football tournament 2016 Drab matches mark morning session

Imphal, November 08 2016: Drab goalless draws marked the morning matches of the 10th Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament underway at THAU ground today with RYC Namthangpung playing a goalless draw with RYC Ragailong.

Similarly, the match between CYDA Chingkhulong and CYC, Chuangphun, ended with both failing to find the net.

Things however improved in the evening session with KYC, Kalalong and TKYYC Toubul, dishing out a competitive match in the first ground of the session.

Both teams opened up from the early minutes of the game and raided each others' territory to find the net.

The sharpshooters of KYC, Kalalong however sealed the match, when its incisive forward line managed to break the tight defence of TKYC, Toubul twice to disturb the net and come out top with a 2-0 margin with the goals coming from the boots of Athana Newmai and Panmei Gedion in the first half.

In the second match of the evening session, DYC, Dimdajang brushed aside KDYC, Khundi with a 4-0 win.

Kameilan Benjamin did the star turn for DYC, Dimdaijang scoring two goals in the 30th and 43rd minute to take his team to a comfortable position.

Janthailung and Meihuanglung Thaimei of DYC added two more goals in the second half to take the match away from the rival team.

ZESDO, Zeihkuluang take on LKCC, Langthabal tomorrow morning at 7 while GFC, Gaidimjang face RYC, Rangkhung at 8.30 .

In the evening, KCYC, Khoupum Chingkao will lock horns with CYC, Chingkham at 1 while KKFC meet CYC, Chinikon at 2.30 .
