YWC-L, YWC-Th, FC Imphal secure wins in 1st Inter Club Women's Futsal C'ship

Imphal, April 06 2025: Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L); Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) and FC Imphal registered convincing victories in the ongoing Loitongbam Sharat Singh Memorial 1st Women's Futsal Inter Club Championship 2025-26 .

In the 16th match of the tournament, Chingangbam Binomala (3', 4', 8', 12', 16') struck five goals to lead YWC-L to a 12-4 win over Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Wangkhei this morning at KIYC Artificial Turf Ground.

Yumnam Anjali (11', 17', 26') also added three goals to YWC-L's tally before conceding and own goal in the 26th minute itself while Sarangthem Alena (9', 23') and Yumnam Laxmi (6', 7') added two goals apiece.

For ESU, Kongkham Priyangka (23') opened the scoring before Thoidingjam Babyrani (26', 30') scored twice.

In the second match of the day, YWC-Th rode on Leikangbam Russia's treble (4', 28', 30') and doubles from Heikham Zenia (2', 14') and Irom Priyadashini (35', 37') to seal a huge 8-2 win over Manipur United FA .

Phuritshambam Rani (17') also contributed a goal to YWC-Th's tally today as Mongjam Pusparani (2', 38') scored both the goals for Manipur United FA .

In the third match of the day, FC Imphal rode on Khumukcham Bhumika (3', 14', 19', 22', 28', 29', 34') to crush MPSC by 15-8 goals.

Thingujam Bhumika (1', 13', 14', 37', 40'), Thongam Reshma (28', 29') and Bijeya Laishram (9') also contributed 8 goals to FC Imphal's tally as Ksh Naocha (25', 26', 39') and Salam Rinaroy (3', 12', 31') scored three goals apiece for MPSC and Salam Pramodini (3') and Leihaorungbam Sanathoi (11') scored a goal apiece.
