TBSFA, Keishamthong FC win to secure quarterfinal tickets

Imphal, April 05 2025: TBSFA, Taobungkhok and Keishamthong FC completed their Group stage campaigns today in the 23rd Challenge Cup unbeaten as they notch up emphatic victories against their rivals.

TBSFA capped their Group A campaign on top with 2 wins and a draw as they crushed FLVKT, Kwakeithel-Tera by 7-1 goals courtesy of a treble from Inaocha (30', 32', 37') and a double from Shyamsunder (51', 59') .

K Herojit (6') and N Deshkumar (38') also added a goal each for the winning side as Zany Khan (34') scored the consolation goal for the Kwakeithel-Tera side.

Meanwhile, Keishamthong FC completed the Group B stage sweep by trouncing SVFC, Senapati by 8-1 goals as U Sanjitkuymar ran riot to bang home 7 goals alone (12', 25', 30+2', 37', 39', 58', 60') after Th Shanta opened the scoring in the 7th minute.

The lone goal for SVFC was scored by Laro in the 53rd minute.
