Imphal, April 06 2025: Ksh Kanta scored four goals alone to fire UVSA, Lilong Chajing 6-1 past Thoubal FC in a Group A match of the 23rd Challenge Cup being organised by Manipur Veteran Football Association.

Ksh Kanta (6', 9', 20', 53') scored both the opening and decisive goal for UVSA as W Probin (29') and W Robin (40') added a goal apiece.

The lone goal for Thoubal FC was scored by M Bijen in the 60th minute of the match.

Later in a Group D match, FLAM, Yaiskul extended their unbeaten run to three games and winning run to two games by beating Friendship NFC, Ningombam by 2-1 goals.

Friendship NFC went ahead after 9 minutes through Paolinlung Rongmei but Kh Manaoba closed out the gap for FLAM in the 26th minute before Lemba Mangte completed the turnaround two minutes into the added time of the first half (30+2') .

The two sides failed to add up in the later half despite chances and eventually FLAM sealed all three points today.
