Imphal, January 29 2025: Kongba Uchekon Khunou Yoga Centre today accorded a warm felicitation to its athletes who were part of the State Yoga team which finished runners up at the recently held National Yogasana Championship.

Notably Manipur finished runners up at the championship that was held from January 17 to 19 at Midnapore in West Bengal with as many as 6 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals.

Two officials and 5 athletes of Kongba Uchekon Khunou Yoga Centre were part of the State team.

The reception programme was held at the office of Rainbow Educational and Sports Organisation (RESU), Kongba Khunou and presided by local body members and centre's functionaries.

The athletes who were feted include Huidrom Angou (gold medal in the men's 66 to 100 years traditional event); Kshetrimayum Sobharani (gold medal in the women's 66 to 100 years traditional event), Aribam Seitabati (silver medal in 66 to 100 years women's traditional event), Longjam Sanatombi and Laishram Surbala.
