Imphal, May 12 2024: Remi Thokchom scored as many as 7 goals alone to inspire Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) a comprehensive 19-0 win over ICSA, Irengbam this afternoon in an U-17 Khelo India Girls' Football Toumament match at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Konthoujam Diana opened the scoring for the Langthabal outfit just five minutes into the game before Remi Thokchom (8', 27', 37', 49', 55', 61', 74') and S Silky (20', 22', 24', 34'), Loukrakpam Seityamala (17', 32'), Wairokpam Daina (33') and Julan Nongmaithem (38') carried forward the scoring spree to set up the 19-0 win.

Later in the day, FC Imphal and ESU, Wangkhei played out a 1-1 draw.

FC Imphal found the lead in the 24th minute through Thongam Reshma but ESU drew level three minutes later through Chingsubam Christina.

The two sides toiled hard to make difference in the later part of the game but their efforts did not yield any result forcing the two sides to share a point each.
