S Bikash wins senior men's triathlon crown in State Triathlon and Aquathlon C'ships

Imphal, April 06 2025: Saikhom Bikash sealed the senior men's triathlon title at the 31st State Triathlon and Aquathlon Championships 2025 organised by the Triathlon Association of Manipur today.

Saikhom Bikash finished with the best time of 46 minutes and 8.11 seconds to seal the gold medal in the senior men's competition as Lourembam Manipur Tomthinganba bagged the silver with a time of 49:20.46 and Saikhom Roshan bagged the bronze medal with a time of 54:46.51 .

Nongmaithem Dhananjoy meanwhile claimed the junior boys' triathlon gold medal reaching the finish line in 41 minutes 51.34 seconds as Thangjam Langamba bagged the silver medal with a time of 41:59.53 and Leishangthem Bishorjit settled for the bronze medal with a time of 44 minutes 14.39 seconds.

Sapam David and Soubam Luchingbi seal sub-junior aquathlon titles .

The day also saw Sapam David and Soubam Luchingbi winning the sub-junior boys and girls aquathlon titles.

David took 18 minutes 43.69 seconds to win the sub-junior boys' title as Yumlembam Aron (19:1.77) and Md Danish (19:38.05) finished second and third to claim the silver and bronze medals.

Meanwhile in the sub-junior girls competition, Luchingbi picked the gold with a time of 20 minutes and 33.90 seconds as Leishangthem Saiyonbi (20:48.57) and Akoijam Langlen (21:35.64) secured second and third positions to settle for the silver and the bronze medals.
