Hosts KLYGC extend winning run in 3rd Inter Village Men's Open Volleyball Tournament

Imphal, April 04 2025: Hosts Kangmong Langoljam Youth's Guidance Club (KLYGC) extended their winning run in the 3rd Inter Village Men's Open Volleyball Tournament with an easy straight sets victory over TYC, Tengdongyan today.

Having beaten UNT, Top Siphai by 3-2 sets (23-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-13, 15-8) in the opening match yesterday, KLYGC sealed an easy 25-10, 25-11, 25-15 win today against TYC.

The day also saw UNT secure two victories to keep their semi-final hopes alive.

UNT defeated TYC by 3-0 sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-12) for their first win in two matches before securing a 25-13, 25-11, 25-18 win over YPC, Ishok for the second win.

YPC had earlier beaten TYC 25-23, 25-17, 25-22 yesterday to open their account.

In the lone Group B match staged today, HVA, Heigrujam beat NCK 25-15, 25-23, 25-15 .

Earlier yesterday, HVA suffered 2-3 sets loss to ADC, Phoubakchao.

KYLSC, Kachikhul also beat NCK 25-13, 25-16, 25-15 in a Group B match yesterday.
