Imphal, February 28 2025: KVWA, Mayang Imphal sealed their third straight Group A victory in the boys competition of the 36th State Level Mini Boys and Girls' Handball Tournament being underway at CYLC ground, Singjamei Chingamathak with a 21-13 win over CYDOL, Lilong Chajing.

KVWA who have beaten SROY, Singjamei yesterday, pulled off a 16-15 hardfought win against OYO, Kongpal for the second win this morning before securing a 21-13 win over CYDOL later in the day.

S Wilson (5), Th Lanchenba (6), Th Malemthoiba (3) and W Gingson (2) were on target in KVWA's close win against OYO today.

Ksh Yaithoiba (7), Ksh Santosh (4), Ksh Geetchandra (3) and S Lanchenba (1) found the target for OYO.

Later in the day, Th Malemthoiba, S Wilson and Th Lanchenba all scored five goals apiece to set up a 21-13 win over CYDOL whose Y Indrajit topscored with 9 goals.

In other Group A matches of the boys competition, KKLYDO, Kongpal crushed SROY, Singjamei 23-8 after beating CYDOL 15-12 .

KKLYDO sealed the comfortable win against SROY thanks to goals from M Leisemba (8), M Rajkumar (7) and N Punaraj (6) and Ch Ajitkumar (2) .

Y Dhanaraj (3), Y Leikhajit (2), L Poreinganba (2) and Th Tomthin (1) scored for SROY .

In the Group B matches of the boys competition, MRC thumped IMC 15-8, IMC beat YLK 16-12, MRC overwhelmed LSWC 17-1, SSC crushed LSWC 14-3 and YLK thumped ESU 23-4 . KVWA, OYO, SSC and KKLYDO victorious in Girls' competition

KVWA, Mayang Imphal; OYO, Kongpal; SSC, Khurai and KKLYDO, Kongpal all emerged victorious in today's matches of the girls competition.

In the Group B matches, KVWA beat YLK, Chingarel Tejpur 8-5 while KKLYDO thrash IMC 6-1 .

N Jeenibala (3), Th Mathoi (2), H Naobi (2) and Th Likla were on target in KVWA's win as N Selina (4) and N Sophiya (1) scored for YLK.

Meanwhile, N Dolly (2), Alhempi (1), K Ayingbi (1), Y Deviya (1) and M Lucky (1) scored to lead KKLYDO to 6-1 win against IMC .

In the Group A matches, OYO beat MRC 6-2 as SSC edged past SROY 11-8 .

Y Trivia (3), Ksh Kalyalini (1), Ksh Lanchenbi (1) and M Nirjana (1) were on target in OYO's 6-2 win over MRC whose M Thadoi and K Lingjel scored a goal apiece.

Meanwhile, SSC rode on goals from Kh Kajal (5), N Taibangsatpi (4), N Sinthoi (1) and L Rabisana (1) to beat SROY 11-8.H Sumitra (4), M Silpa (2) and S Jansirani (2) were on target for SROY .
