AKSDO cruise to third win on trot in 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, January 29 2025: AKSDO, Khangabok crushed YPHUC, Lalambung by 9 wickets for the third win on trot in the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy in a one sided encounter at THAU ground, Thangmeiband this morning.

YPHUC won the toss and opted to bat first.

They however had a torrid time facing AKSDO bowlers and slumped to 50 all out in 28.5 overs despite 35 extras as 7 batters went out on duck while four others ended up with meagre single digit scores.

AKSDO's Henthoisana Takhellambam enjoyed a haul of three wickets (3/14 in 6 overs) in this innings as Laishram Linthoi Chanu (2/4 in 6 overs that include 2 maidens) and Lucyrani Khundrakpam (2/11 in 6 overs) shared four wickets.

Thokchom Langlen, Moirangthem Lucky and Bijiya Khundrakpam also chipped in a wicket apiece for AKSDO in an innings that saw Suchitra and Kongjengbam Lembisana topscoring for YPHUC with identical 5 runs to their names.

In the chase, AKSDO only lost Langlen on 6 to Eriklembi of YPHUC before Bijiya Khundrakpam 13 and Alish Thokchom 12 took AKSDO to winning 53 in just 3.2 overs.

T Henthoisana of AKSDO was eventually adjudged player of the match.
